National Book Award for Young People's Literature.Library Page Lansing Branches (South Lansing, Foster and Downtown).Through fundraising, the Friends support many library programs: Summer Reading, Music as Another Language, Read With Me Storytime (ages 1-6), STEAM 1 (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math-ages 8-12), STEAM 2 (ages 5-7), ANIME Club (grades 5-12), Teen Book Club (grades 6-12), Computer Classes (adults), and Lego Club.įor those who cannot make this sale, there will be another sale at the Carrabelle branch on Saturday, February 19, 2022. The Mission of the Friends is to support the Franklin County Public Libraries’ goal to provide informational, educational, and cultural materials for the benefit of persons of all ages in the community. While you are at the Eastpoint Library, be sure to check out the lovely new gazebo, part of the library beautification project sponsored by the Friends. Food donations are being coordinated via a sign-up sheet at the Eastpoint library or by calling (850) 670-8151. As a bonus at this year’s sale, there will also be some yard sale items available. The soups and bread sell out very fast so come early to get the best selection. Soups and bread will go on sale beginning at 11 am. This popular sale features vintage and used books and DVDs, delicious homemade soups, and freshly baked artisan bread. The Friends of Franklin County Public Libraries is hosting their annual Soup, Bread & Book Sale on Saturday, January 22, 2022, outside of the Eastpoint branch of the Franklin County Public Library, 160 Hickory Dip Rd. ![]()
